NormaTec is an innovative medical device company leading advancements in the field of pneumatic medicine. The NormaTec is a state-of-the-art compression therapy system, used to treat lymphedema, venous insufficiency, non-healing wounds, and other circulation related issues. NormaTec’s dynamic pneumatic compression devices dramatically improve circulation with a patented compression technology, and an easy-to-use system that is compact, lightweight and portable.
NormaTec was invented in 1998 by Dr. Laura Jacobs, a physician who also had a doctorate in engineering, in response to a desperate need for new technology to rapidly and non-invasively treat circulation-related disorders. Since then, NormaTec has been an industry leader in pneumatic compression, providing improved mobility and profound healing results for thousands of clients. The work that Dr. Jacobs pioneered with NormaTec’s technology has also grown to include the NormaTec PULSE and PULSE PRO which help athletes of all levels to optimize their recovery and improve their training.
NormaTec is the leader in rapid recovery—our systems give a competitive edge to the world’s elite athletes, coaches, and trainers. Our goal is to establish recovery as an integral part of every athlete’s training, and we feel NormaTec systems are the best way to accomplish that. The NormaTec PULSE Recovery Systems are dynamic compression devices designed for recovery and rehab. All of our systems use NormaTec’s patented PULSE technology to help athletes recover faster between training’s and after performance and everyday individuals recover from the long workdays.
Our systems include a control unit and attachments which go on the legs, arms, or hips. They use compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery with our patented NormaTec Pulse Massage Pattern. When you use our systems, you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the connected attachments are molded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands, or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Similar to the kneading and stroking done during a massage, each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb.
During your NormaTec session you will be able to relax for 20-30 mins and let the attachments to the work! You will feel the attachment(s) you are wearing pressing on your body. You can use your phone, watch TV or use the BrainTap system to listen to Binaural music to address any indication you choose such as stress relief, energy enhancement, improved concentration and many more. We suggest using NormaTec after a red-light or PEMF session to help flush out toxins even quicker.

During periods of continued strenuous exercise or training NormaTec can be used daily. If not, we suggest using it one time a week, unless you are also participating in other certain modalities at Vivify.
